Tableau offers free licenses of the Tableau Desktop visualization program to students and university professors. The goal of this meetup is to get together people who already use Tableau for teaching and/or research, or who are interested in learning more. I will be sharing some of my experiences with using Tableau in class, and talk about how we want to support people in their teaching. I also encourage others to share their experiences, and I hope to collect input for what else we could be doing for our academic programs.
