IEEE VIS 2014 is the 25th year of the IEEE VIS events. We will be having several activities to celebrate this milestone.

• At IEEE VIS 2014 in Paris, we will have a interactive timeline where you can contributed your inspiring milestone visualizations. We have already gathered initial content that we show here on this web site. We thank many members of the IEEE VIS community for sharing these contributions. We invite you to bring your own print outs to IEEE VIS 2014 for us to include in the time line. If you would like to provide us your images in advance, please send them to web site http://ieeevis.org/vis25timeline
• On the Saturday after IEEE VIS 2014, there will be a Tour de VIS bike event that includes a visit to and tour of the Aviz Lab. Please see http://www.gicentre.net/velo-club-de-vis for more information.
• During the conference banquet, we will also feature a 25th year celebration where all attendees can participate. We hope you will join us.
