Abstract
This work explores how an imprecise visual cue to a target's location, either with or without an explicit visual representation of that imprecision, may affect naturalistic visual search performance. Additionally, the impact of feedback and practice with these cues and uncertainty visualizations is assessed. Experimental results will have implications for the inclusion and design of virtual location indicators in mixed reality systems.
