Abstract

Large High-Resolution Displays (LHRDs) provide immense visual space and pixel density, making them highly effective for collaborative, data-intensive spatial analysis. However, seamlessly combining complex geospatial analysis and natural user interactions within a unified, real-time architecture remains an open challenge. This poster presents a geospatial visualization and interaction framework for LHRDs. Our system integrates web maps, computer vision-driven mid-air gestures, and a lightweight language model. Initial user feedback during a terrain-aware risk-assessment case study highlights that the combination of embodied interaction and natural language AI significantly increases engagement and collaborative workflow efficiency compared to traditional input methods.
